“Classic washed Geisha, the elegant kind. Silvia Marina is Kotowa's high farm in El Salto, above Boquete, at 1,900 meters. Last season it gave us Blue Butterfly, a natural full of blueberry and spearmint. This is the same farm washed, and it goes the other way: jasmine and white florals first, white peach underneath, layered and quiet. Kotowa took 10th in Washed Geisha at Best of Panama 2025, and this is why. If you want to know what a washed Panama Geisha is supposed to taste like, this is the reference cup.”
