“This Typica Mejorado comes from Finca Llavecocha in the Saraguro region of Loja Province, southern Ecuador. Carlos's farm, located at the highest elevation within the La Papaya area at 2,200 meters, was planted in 2019 and reached its first harvest in 2023. The farm exemplifies harmony with nature principles, with various fruit trees creating a rich ecosystem instead of monoculture. Carlos leads over 60 farms in the La Papaya region, which won 1st place at Ecuador's first-ever Cup of Excellence in 2021.”
