Highlights
“Wuri is a village inside Worka Sakaro, one of sixteen administrative areas in Gedeb, the district on Yirgacheffe's eastern edge. The name means gold in the local Gedeo language, and the washing station has been owned since 2019 by Ranger, a BNT subsidiary set up to push Yirgacheffe quality higher. This lot is natural-process heirloom from 25 smallholders between 1,900 and 2,100 masl, roasted lighter than Philocoffea's usual Wuri profile so it holds up as a café espresso while keeping the berry fruit across the cup.”
