“Wuri Village sits in Worka Sakaro, Gedeb District, in the southeastern part of Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone. The Worka Sakaro washing station has been owned by Ranger, a BNT subsidiary, since the 2019 harvest. This year's green coffee arrived at around 9% moisture, so the roast opened with gentler heat before climbing, with about a minute of development after first crack to protect the delicate floral aromatics. The lot is Philocoffea's second year of Wuri Washed.”
