“Tade GG Farm is located in Shakisso Village, Guji Zone, at over 2,000 meters altitude. After a devastating forest fire left the area with only small forest patches, Mr. Tasfaye began coffee production here as a means of rebuilding the community. Through tireless effort, coffee production has contributed to environmental recovery and created many jobs in the economically struggling village. All harvested coffee cherries are transported to a washing station 20 km away, carefully sorted using water tanks, dried on African beds, and meticulously hand-picked to ensure only optimally ripe cherries are processed.”
