Highlights
“Finca La Limonera belongs to Moises Herrera and Marysabel Caballero, who grow mostly Catuaí across family plots in the Xinacla area of Marcala, Honduras — dry, rocky country full of pine, with citrus, avocado and banana trees shading the coffee. Marysabel is a fourth-generation producer from Marcala; Moises, originally from Guatemala, has farmed coffee for decades and is experimenting with more than 25 varieties. This lot was harvested in March 2026 at 1,600 metres, washed traditionally and dried on shaded raised beds, and the green is frozen to preserve freshness. Phil & Sebastian sell it as their holiday coffee, Snow Day.”
