Highlights
“Twi'ha is a small family farm run by third-generation coffee farmer Armando Gomez, his wife and their eldest son, in the Mam village of Todos Santos Cuchumatán, Huehuetenango. The farm sits at high elevation in the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes, Central America's highest non-volcanic range, with Bourbon, Caturra and Typica growing under native Chalum, Sauco, Mispero and banana trees. The coffee is washed in the traditional Guatemalan method; in the cup it shows wild blackberry, crisp Asian pear, caramel sweetness and a lingering cocoa finish.”
