Highlights
“Finca Argentina sits near the town of Turin in El Salvador's Ahuachapán department, in the Apaneca-Ilamtepec mountain range at 1,300 metres. The Martinez family have owned the 35-hectare farm since 1967; its 7 tablons each carry their own microclimate character. The Guachipelin tablon was replanted in 2016 with H1 (Centroamericano), an F1 hybrid combining Timor Hybrid and Rume Sudan lineage that resists leaf rust and yields well. Coffee is processed at the Los Ausoles dry mill. OZONE has bought from the family since 2008.”
