Highlights
“Karogoto is produced by more than 900 smallholder farmers of the Tekangu Farmers' Cooperative Society across the highlands of Nyeri, on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya. The classic Kenyan washed process — pulped, fermented, graded in washing channels and slowly dried on raised beds — yields a precise, expressive cup with jammy ripe fruit, bright acidity and layered sweetness. Ruiru 11, Batian, SL34 and SL28 grown at 1700-1800 masl.”
