“Finca Agua Tibia belongs to Industrias Agrícolas Centro Americanas, a Guatemalan corporation founded in 1886 that has farmed the site for generations. Coffee arrived in the 1950s with Bourbon and Typica; since 2011 roughly 5% of the older plantations have been renewed each year, and Centroamericano H1 (Rume Sudan x Sarchimor) was planted in 2016 and now covers four hectares. The washed lot is grown at 1,600-1,780 masl in San José Pinula, Fraijanes, and harvested December to March.”
