“Finca Nueva Armenia in the highlands of Huehuetenango has been farming coffee since the 1850s, and this heirloom Typica is naturally processed with whole cherries dried on raised beds at the farm's highest altitudes. It is the work of fifth-generation cousins Antonio Recinos Alvarado and Juan Sebastián Recinos, and the farm has been organic (USDA & JAS) and Smithsonian Bird Friendly certified since 2008. The lot scored 88+ SCA and ranked 12th among regional naturals.”
