“Venkids Valley is a third-generation Coorg plantation, founded by the father of the late M.N. Cariappa and now managed by his son Pavan Nanjappa with his wife Shilpa, who grow arabica and robusta under the Papakuchi brand and have exported micro-lots since 2013. This washed robusta lot - Old Peradeniya and CxR - is hand-picked, de-pulped, fermented 12 to 48 hours and sun-dried on raised beds. NAIVO roasts it omni so it holds up as espresso yet stays sweet in manual brews.”
