“NAIVO's Nepal lot comes from smallholders on the terraced hills of Gulmi, at 1,300 m, working Bourbon, Typica and Caturra. It is a traditional washed coffee: cherries handpicked, sorted and depulped, mucilage washed off, then the parchment sun-dried and managed to moisture. Bloomm & Beans handles the sourcing. The cup is unusually sweet for a washed coffee - white chocolate, red apple, mandarin - with bright malic acidity and a clean, structured finish.”
