“Attikan, 'White Hill', is a Sangameshwar Coffee Estates farm in the Biligirirangana Hills of Karnataka, bordered by reserve forest and still without electricity or mobile signal. Sriram and Hamsini Appadurai manage the estate, which Scottish planter Randolf Morris founded in the late 19th century. This SL9 lot is washed with a double fermentation at 1,650 metres, and NAIVO roasts it for espresso: baker's chocolate, cedar and roasted nuts over medium sweetness and a rich body.”
