Highlights
“Banko Taratu is a cooperative processing station in Gedeb, Ethiopia, servicing around 500 smallholder producers. During harvest the site employs some 190 staff for cherry acceptance, sorting, processing and drying, and is run by brothers Seleshi and Degafe Beyene. At 2,300 metres the trees take about nine months to ripen from flower to deep red cherry. These lots of 74110 and 74112 were washed, dried in parchment, harvested in January 2026 and roasted for filter.”
