“Tegu AA is a washed Kenyan lot from Nyeri, screened to the AA grade and planted with the four cultivars Kenyan auction lots usually blend: Batian, SL-34, Ruiru 11 and SL-28. Monogram roasts it to the profile the shop calls its Sweet Spot, aiming for a cup that is bright and juicy rather than sharp. Cupping notes are cranberry, grapefruit and peach cobbler.”
