Highlights
“Sourced from Colombia's celebrated Huila region in collaboration with Azahar Coffee, this sugarcane decaf brings together seven producers across four municipalities, grown at altitudes of 1,650 to 2,000 meters. The lot was decaffeinated at the Descafecol plant in Manizales, Caldas, using ethyl acetate derived from natural sugar cane extracts. The beans are steamed to open their pores, then rinsed in ethyl acetate to draw out caffeine, and dried to 10-12% humidity. The process preserves the bean's natural character, elevating complexity and flavor clarity for a decaf that's every bit as rewarding as any full-strength cup.”
