Highlights
“Agua Sarca is a 67-hectare farm in Las Manos, Dipilto, in the highlands of Nueva Segovia, run by the same family for more than thirty years and a repeated Cup of Excellence Nicaragua finalist since 2017. This lot comes from La Mila, a 1.43-hectare plot of the El Chilamate plantation farmed by Isacio Javier Albir Vilchez at about 1,330 metres and planted with Maracaturra, the Maragogype and Caturra cross known for its large beans. Coffee grows under Inga and native forest trees with búcaro, banana and fruit trees; between December and April ripe cherries are picked by hand, selected, floated and pulped. Machina roasts it for filter.”
