“Kurume and Dega varieties grown by smallholder farmers on garden plots in Chelbesa, Gedeb, then trucked to the Danche washing station owned by Habtamu Fikadu Aga and his company Kuri Mountain Coffee. The lot is a traditional washed coffee: pulped, fermented submerged in tanks, soaked in clean water and dried on raised beds. Florals like elderflower sit alongside a juicy, nectarous peach complexity. Harvest December-January 2025/26.”
