Highlights
“Lucid's first Honduran coffee, sourced through Semilla from smallholder lots in the villages of San Juanillo, Las Botijas, Las Delicias, Encinal and Las Penas. Cherries are harvested at peak ripeness, floated and depulped the same day, then dry fermented in concrete tanks or plastic barrels under shade, washed in clean water and dried on raised beds or inside solar dryers for an average of 25 days. Varieties are Typica, Parainema and Villa Sarchi. Semilla quotes a farmgate price of 17,000 Lempira per carga of parchment against a 2026 regional average of 14,000, and an FOB of $4.51 USD per pound.”
