Highlights
“Leyvis Marely Romero farms in the hamlet of Las Botijas, Villa de San Antonio, Comayagua, and is one of the newest growers in the Sueños de Semilla project; this was her second harvest and her first export under her own name. Her Pacamara is de-pulped the same day the cherries are picked, dry-fermented in sealed bags for 50 hours and then dried on solar beds for 25 days at 1,550 metres. Lucid notes a farmgate price of 23,500 Lempira per carga parchment against a regional average of 14,000, and an FOB of 5.80 USD per pound.”
