Highlights
“Mitad del Mundo, meaning 'Middle of the World,' is a blend of coffees from Ecuador's Andean highlands. Sourced from smallholder producers in Loja, this lot reflects generations of coffee-growing passion. The region's tropical climate and fertile soil create ideal conditions for specialty coffee. Producers cultivate Bourbon, Caturra, and Typica varieties, using washed processing with fermentation times from 24 to 100 hours. The coffee is dried on covered raised beds for 15 to 30 days before being transported to Caravela's mill in Quito for quality analysis and final processing.”
