“Nelson Ramirez is a third generation coffee farmer and former agronomist, growing on 16 hectares at Finca Androz in El Cielito, Santa Barbara, at 1550 masl. The 2026 harvest is a field blend of Pacas, Parainema and Catuai, washed the classic way: mechanically pulped, rinsed repeatedly to clear the mucilage, fermented briefly to loosen the parchment, then dried in a single layer. The cup is generous rather than sharp. Silky smooth body with marshmallow aromatics, acidity like very ripe mango, and a shortbread finish.”
