“San Isidro has been in Katia Duke's family for generations, fifteen minutes from the Ruinas de Copan. After the 2012 roya epidemic she studied agronomy at Zamorano, became a certified barista and roaster and opened her own cafe. Ten years of experimentation led her back to Yellow Obata, a hardy variety she chose for the clarity and sweetness it brings at 1,300 masl.”
