“This coffee is bright. It's also delicate but not too delicate. The citrus character comes through in both flavor and acidity, hitting notes of yuzu and lemon. With a bit of florality, it also has a creaminess as well that veers towards juiciness as it cools. Layo Teraga Cooperative was founded in 1976 and supports 1,841 smallholder coffee farmers in Guji, providing access to markets that historically offered lower prices than neighbouring regions. Farmers grow coffee in semi-forested gardens at elevations above 2,200 metres.”
