“Café Granja La Esperanza is one of the most influential projects in the evolution of specialty coffee in Colombia and worldwide. Located in the Valle del Cauca, this farm is part of a group of properties managed by the Herrera family, who for decades have bet on innovation, agronomic control and the constant search for exceptional cup profiles. The lot has been processed using the natural method, which means that the coffee cherries are dried whole, with the pulp intact. This type of process intensifies the character of the coffee: it provides more sweetness, more body and a more pronounced fruity complexity.”
