Highlights
“This coffee comes from Terry Farm, a farmer partnership program managed by PT. Jingki Roda Gayo in the Gayo Highlands of Bener Meriah, Aceh province, Indonesia. The farms thrive at altitudes between 1300 and 1600 meters in fertile volcanic soil with a cool tropical climate. After harvest, fresh cherries undergo traditional flotation sorting (rimbang) to separate only perfectly ripe cherries. All post-harvest activities are systematically coordinated to maintain freshness and quality. The Gayo coffee region has produced renowned Arabica coffees since Dutch colonial administration introduced plants around 1908. Today, small farmers continue the tradition with shade-grown, sustainable practices, and coffee remains deeply embedded in the community's cultural identity.”
