“Peñas Blancas gathers smallholders around the Vergara, Lasso and Gasca family farms above Acevedo in Huila, and a shared processing centre gives them access to modern infrastructure, training and better pay. This Caturra and Castillo lot was fermented anaerobically as naturals at 1,750-1,950 m, and KB roasts it for filter: cherries, blackcurrant and raspberry over a floral finish. The name comes from the pale rocky peaks that overlook the valley.”
