Highlights
“Shakiso is a village in Ethiopia's Guji zone, where coffee grows at high altitude in rich red soil that sets it apart from neighbouring regions. Smallholder farmers deliver their harvest to be sorted and processed together, and the ripe cherries are dried on raised beds under constant rotation, building natural sweetness over several weeks. The result is a fragrant, syrupy cup singing of elderflower, citrus bergamot and cooked blackberry.”
