“Kii Coffee Factory is one of three washing stations operated by Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County, near the foothills of Mount Kenya. Smallholder members deliver cherry from their individual farms to Kii, where the coffee is processed collectively as a washing-station lot. This washed Kenyan coffee combines four varieties - SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru 11 and Batian - centered on blackcurrant and ripe plum, with black tea providing structure through the finish.”
