Highlights
“Los Brujos is a sheltered site on the southern side of Baru volcano, part of Hacienda Barbara in Potrerillos, Chiriqui. The estate belongs to the Rogers family and is managed by agronomist Hunter Tedman with Linda Arauz, with close to half of its land kept as protected forest; Los Brujos' protection from the wind creates a humid, forested growing environment that separates it from the estate's other sites. Pacamara, the El Salvador cross of Pacas and Maragogipe, grows here between 1,200 and 1,600 masl. Cherries dry whole in the fruit before the dried fruit is removed and the green coffee prepared for export. Hydrangea roasts it light: dried fig, apricot and dandelion.”
