“Lot Torre from Elida Estate, Alto Quiel, Boquete, on the slopes of Volcán Barú. The Lamastus family has grown coffee here since 1918 under shade trees alongside protected cloud forest, where volcanic soils, cool nights and constant mountain mist ripen the cherries slowly. This Torre lot was harvested on April 18 and finished drying on May 13: the cherries were dried whole in a dark room, away from direct sunlight, which holds the nectarine and guava sweetness together with orange blossom.”
