“Ethiopia Wachu is grown by over 360 smallholder farmers in the remote Harsu Haro Muda kebele of Guji region. These high-elevation farms sit at 2,050-2,300 meters above sea level on fertile, self-sustaining soils shaded by diverse native trees and crops. Despite difficult access, long rainy seasons, and limited infrastructure, local producers carefully cultivate and deliver high-quality coffee using traditional methods. The natural processing method preserves the fruit-forward character that makes Ethiopian coffees distinctive.”
