“Marcos Perdomo is an agricultural engineer and third-generation coffee grower in La Paz, Honduras, whose working life has covered coffee farming, beekeeping, cattle, fish farming and the cultivation of rice, corn and beans before he settled on coffee. This is Higher Grounds' first year buying from him. His washed Catuai is a smooth, medium-bodied cup with stately sweetness and ample aromatics, sweet notes of fig, toffee and toasted coconut, and blackberry top notes that open up with a swirl or a lively slurp.”
