Highlights
“Bryan Adolfo Bautista Zelaya is a third-generation grower in Marcala, La Paz, whose farm, Finca Adolfo's, sits at 1,540 metres in the community of Musula and has been in the family for over fifty years. The farm began with Lempira only and now carries Yellow and Red Catuai, Yellow and Red Bourbon, Pacamara, Parainema, Gesha and Lempira across roughly eleven productive hectares, with one manzana of preserved forest protecting a natural spring. This natural Bourbon comes through the APROCOMSA cooperative with a heavy body, sweet and balanced acidity, and a predominantly chocolate profile, the ferment showing mostly in the body and aftertaste.”
