“High Wire's annual holiday blend, built around the coffees that shaped the year. Finca El Tempixque in the Antigua Valley of Guatemala returns as the base, after the 2025 tariff squeeze kept Guatemalan coffee off the menu; its characteristic balance of body and acidity made it a shoo-in. Coffees from the Los Crestones micro-mill in the Chirripó region of southern Costa Rica add honey-like sweetness and body. A naturally processed Ethiopian from the Tulise washing station in Yirgacheffe brings cooked fruit character, its brightness muted at this roast level but its sweetness intact. Each component could stand alone as a single origin. On the roast spectrum, Celebration falls between The Core and Shadow Play: a deep, full-bodied cup with layers of dark honey sweetness, rich semi-sweet chocolate, and an elegant hint of mulled wine and stewed fruit that carries through the long finish. A limited offering expected to last until about the end of December.”
