“Huila Fortune is a decaf Geisha lot built from smallholder pickings across Palestina, San Agustín and Garzón in Huila, Colombia, at 1,600-2,000 MASL. The material comes from José Martínez, Argemiro Hoyos, Olimpo and Gregorio Calderón, and Pilicarpo Yossa, and was decaffeinated with sugarcane-derived ethyl acetate at Descafecol in Manizales, Caldas. Hex roasts it in Charlotte, North Carolina, and holds the decaf to the same standard as its caffeinated lots.”
