Highlights
“The Gaturiri factory is a member of the Barichu Cooperative society, serving around 1,100 smallholder producers nearby. Coffee here is predominantly SL28 & SL34, prized for their classic, complex Kenyan profile. Cherries are handpicked, pulped and float sorted, then fermented for 24 hours, washed, given a secondary 12-24 hour fermentation, and finally dried in thin layers for 10 to 15 days.”
