Highlights
“A Grade 3 natural Ethiopian heirloom from the Sewda Washing Station just outside Shakiso, in the Guji zone of Oromia, grown by around 500 smallholder farmers between 1,850 and 2,100 masl. The blend of cherries is 85% well-ripe, 10% reddish-ripe and 5% over-ripe, and the site soaks them in fresh water for 12 hours before they go out to dry - an unusual step for a natural. The lot scored 84.8 on the SCI cupping table and ships as green coffee, to be roasted before brewing.”
