Highlights
“One of two lots H&S released from José Giraldo's Las Marias estate in Pijao, Quindío: same producer, same Green-tip Gesha planting, different plot and process. Entre Montañas is oxydator washed, and it shows sparkling, phosphoric acidity under heavy rose-like florals with an amaro-like finish; H&S name Cardamaro, a wine-based amaro, to describe the winey, herbaceous, dried-fruit character. Their notes describe it as the more expressive and decadent of the pair, leaning sweet with a long lingering floral finish. Farm: Las Marias. Region: Pijao, Quindío. Variety: Green-tip Gesha. Process: Oxydator washed. Sourcing: Qima.”
