“Finca San José in Apaneca has belonged to the women of the Magaña family for four generations, and Gringo has visited repeatedly and buys the family's entire harvest, agreeing with them each season on how the coffee will be processed after picking. Bourbon grows under shade at 1,450 m in its red, yellow and orange forms, everything picked by hand at full ripeness and wet-processed, the method that underpins the farm's production. This is the 600 kg 2026 harvest, picked January to March.”
