“Sasaba washing station sits just outside Bule Hora in the Kercha district of Guji, south of Addis Ababa on the road toward Moyale. Tsegay Hagos Tesfaye's team receives ripe cherry from over 500 smallholder farmers in the surrounding highlands and wet-processes it carefully, drying on raised beds in the sun. The result is the clean, transparent Guji profile Gringo looks for: lively, juicy citrus, light floral honey sweetness and a bright finish. Harvest December 2025, 6,000 kg lot.”
