“The Rungeto Farmers Co-operative Society has about 600 members with 500 active farmers. The Karimikui factory is located within a tea growing zone and runs agronomy training sessions. Water for processing is pumped from River Karimikui, and the wet mill is on site for same-day processing. The factory also owns a recirculation system as part of sustainable farming initiatives.”
