“This natural processed coffee comes from 120 farmers growing on the nutrient-rich slopes of Mount Elgon volcanic mountain, with water from the Sipi Falls. After harvest, Alfred Wasikye and his team from Chanzo Coffee process the Bourbon SL14 and SL28 varieties. The coffee reaches us through Nadine Ngari from The Coffee Board, who provides prefinancing to help cover the high costs of hand harvesting on the steep terrain.”
