“Alto San Juan Micromill is run by Diego Abarca, a fourth-generation grower who turned a plot of family land at Finca San Calletano in Tarrazú, Costa Rica, into his own business. The lot is Catuai at 1,600 masl, dried as a natural with anaerobic fermentation, harvested December to April. Fox Coffee roasts it for filter and prints berry liqueur, grapefruit and fruit sugar on the bag.”
