Highlights
“Geisha Farm was founded in 2019 by Kebir, a subsidiary company, in the Bench-Maji woreda of Ethiopia. Its warmer microclimate near the ancestral forests of the Omo valley gives a cup profile that departs from classic Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Guji lots. This Geisha lot undergoes 72 hours of anaerobic fermentation and is dried natural, producing pronounced aromatic intensity, complexity and sweetness. Foundation scores it 88 points. In the cup: red berry jam, Sicilian orange and apple cider, a full and juicy body, and a long, intense fermentative finish.”
