Highlights
“Isaac Espinoza was one of the first coffee farmers to establish a plantation and beneficio in Inkawasi, Cusco, Peru. His farm has inspired many others in the district to enter specialty coffee. This SL9 variety, also known as 'Inca Gesha,' is an Ethiopian-like coffee plant with Gesha-like stature and cup profile. The cherries are selectively harvested, washed, fermented for 18 hours, depulped, then fermented again for 36 hours without water. After washing, the beans are dried on shaded beds for 18 days.”
