Highlights
“This yellow honey San Roque from the Aguilera Brothers in Los Robles de Naranjo, West Valley, is a vibrant expression of Costa Rican coffee: precise, characterful and deeply sweet. Grown and processed at the family's micromill, it reflects decades of focused farming and meticulous post-harvest work. Bright notes of star fruit lead into baked pear and toffee-like sweetness, with juicy, well-defined acidity and a clean, lingering finish. San Roque is a Costa Rican mutation closely related to SL-28, delivering clarity and ripe fruit character — tropical brightness balanced by structured sweetness. The coffee was dried at the Aguileras' own mill with thoughtful sorting and patient, controlled drying. Roasted lightly for filter to emphasize crystalline acidity and confectionary sweetness. Producer: Aguilera Brothers. Farm: Finca Chayote. Altitude: 1,400–1,650 m.a.s.l.”
