“Koke Shalaye washing station was founded in 2019 by Abreham Mengiste, working with farmers around Koke in the Yirgacheffe growing area above 1,973 masl. The JARC selections planted here - 74110, 74112 and 74165 - were bred at the Jimma Agricultural Research Center for disease resistance while keeping the complexity Ethiopian coffee is known for. This lot is the washed filter expression.”
