Highlights
“Ana Sora sits in the far south of Ethiopia, in the South Guji Zone's Anasora district at 2,200-2,300 masl. The 74-series varieties — 74110 and 74112 — were selected from wild coffee trees in the Metu-Bishari forest by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center in the 1970s, bred for disease resistance and yield. Outgrower farmers selectively handpick ripe cherries and bring them to the station for natural processing.”
